- Kept in Equipment bag (Provided during Uniform/Picture Day).
- This bag goes home with students, and must be brought to every game and competition.
What to Keep in Your Equipment Bag:
- 2 Pairs of plain, black crew socks (No ankle socks, No logos) Compression shorts, or Tight-fitting shorts for under bibs Hair supplies (bobby pins, ties, gel, etc.) Issued Gloves, Shako, Drillmasters
Uniform Care:
-
Check Drillmasters, Shako, and Gloves regularly for cleaning needed throughout the season.
Gloves are machine washable.
Hats can be cleaned with Clorox wipes, and are to be stored with the flat top down.
- Please be careful where these are stored at home. Last season some hat boxes were returned bent, misshapen and unable to be used. Many of the box hinges are already in poor shape, however, if the box cannot close due to warping, it can no longer be used. Uniforms will be washed twice a season, or as needed by our washing team. We are working on a video with instructions on how to properly hang the uniforms. This will go out to students before the first wearing of the uniforms.
On Performance Days (Football Games + Competitions):
-
Students need to bring their equipment bag with all items listed above.
Compression shorts should be worn on the day of the performance.
- This will make changing in the upper gym, parking lots, or other locations easier and more efficient. Wear your show shirt under your uniform unless otherwise instructed, and always wear clean, all-black crew socks. *No Logos can be visible. No Make-up in uniform. No Jewelry in uniform. If it cannot be removed, you may cover it with a flesh covered bandaid, or use clear earrings (can be found on Amazon). Hair must be secured up and off the neckline. A bun positioned on the top of the head usually works best. Please use bobby pins to secure any shorter pieces at the back. Students will get a video in the student band app showing how this can be done.
Items Needed:
-
Plain, black crew socks
Compression, or tighter-fitting shorts (for under bibs)
Light-Colored Gym shoes (no neon)
-
Show Shirt (Provided)
