Moeller Music Education Scholarship Available – Deadline April 13, 2012
Mar 15th
Applications must be into the Warren County Arts Council (WCAC) by April 13, 2012 for the Moeller Music Center’s Music Education Scholarship. All OMEA’s District 13 high school seniors who intend to major in instrumental music school education are eligible for this scholarship. Attached are the scholarship guidelines. As in the past, the Warren County Arts Council is administering this scholarship.

For those students living in Warren County, the following scholarships are also available through the Warren County Arts Council:
Cynthia Maria Stegman Voice Scholarship (voice)
Hamilton Stands Music Scholarship (music or music business management)
Hawkins Music Scholarship (emphasis in classical music – performance, teaching, conducting)
Larry E. Stone Founder’s Scholarship (any art-related field including music)
LCNB Arts Scholarship (any art-related field including music)
WCAC Arts Scholarship(s) (any art-related field including music)

Lakota Summer Band Clinic
For 7th, 8th, and 9th grade Instrumentalists
June 4-8 from 9am to noon at Lakota West High School

1 O’Clock Jazz plays at Lebanon Jazz Festival

The 1 O'Clock Freshman Jazz band performed at the Lebanon Jazz Festival on March 10th. They performed:
The Blues Walk
Soloists: Matthew (trumpet), Anna (tenor sax)
Vertigo
Soloists: Austin (alto sax), Oseji (trombone), Noah (alto sax), Anna (trumpet), Cole (bari sax), Sam (vibes)
American Patrol
After the performance they had a clinic with Trumpeter and Technical Staff Sgt David Diamond of the Air Force Band of Flight.

7 O’clock Plays at Lebanon Jazz Festival
Mar 12th
On Saturday March 10th the 7 O'Clock Jazz Band participated in the Lebanon Jazz Festival. They performed:

After the concert the group had a clinic with Trombonist Andrew Duncan from the Air Force Band of Flight.
