Eastside Jazz Ensemble

The Eastside Jazz Ensemble is Lakota East High School’s most advanced jazz band.  The group is open to any LEHS student in grades 10-12, but is typically made up of juniors and seniors.   In addition to regular school performances, this ensemble frequently participates in national and/or university jazz festivals.  Past performances include the Essentially Ellington Jazz Competition and Festival (NY, NY), the Monterey Next Generation Jazz Festival (Monterey, CA), the University of North Texas Jazz Festival (Addison, TX) and the OMEA State Professional Conference.
