Leach, Lindsay – Flute, Picolo
Dear fellow musicians, My name is Lindsay Leach and I am currently finishing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at CCM at the University of Cincinnati. Although I am fairly new to the area, I have maintained a private teaching studio in various locations since 1998. I am now building a private studio in my home in Cincinnati and I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself and the instruments/subjects that I teach (flute, cello, violin, viola, piano, music theory) so that you can pass this information along to your classroom students. I am primarily a flutist and have performed and taught as such all over the world. Additionally, I have a performance background in cello and, prior to my move to Ohio, served as the professor of cello at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Also while in NC, I taught string orchestra and collected several violin and viola students into my private studios as well. Moreover, I am completing a cognate in Music Theory at CCM and have experience teaching AP and IB Music Theory–I am happy to tutor students or help in AP or IB diploma test preparation. Lastly, I have also included beginning piano students in my private teaching studios. I've attached my resume here so that you can get a better idea of my background and experiences. You can also check out my website at www.LALflute.com for further information about me. Please feel free to forward this email and my contact details (below) to your colleagues, friends, students, and music associates. I offer a very flexible schedule and individualized teaching style to meet the needs of every student. Being a former orchestra director, I know how valuable private instruction can be to the growth of not only the individual player but of the entire ensemble. Please email or call with any questions you may have or for more information on my rates and location. I look forward to working with you! Sincerely,
Lindsay A. Leach
