Your Support is Needed
Community Support is needed to fund expense related to this November trip which includes performances in the 2008 Waikiki Holiday Parade and at Pearl Harbor . Scholarships for students who may not be able to make the trip due to financial hardship, travel expense to and from the airport, transportation of uniforms and instruments for 250 students and travel expenses for Pearl Harbor survivor Joe Whitt. $60,000 is the Goal! Lakota East Band students will be participating in a variety of individual fundraising activities to fund their own personal expenses for the trip — approximately $2,300 per person. (Sponsor dollars raised beyond group expenses will be divided among the students to offset their costs) Support the Lakota East Marching Band at one of these sponsorship levels.
