Scrip Cards

The Scrip Gift Card program is a great way to earn money for your band student's personal account. Through the program you purchase gift cards at face value, and the company returns a percentage to the band. This profit is then distributed to the student's band account minus a portion to support the bands as a whole.

EXAMPLE # 1

 

 

$10 Chipotle gift card

  • You pay $10 for the gift card
  • Chipotle gives 10% of the purchase to the band
  • Total profit on the card is $1.00
  • $0.90 goes to the student account
  • $0.10 goes to the band account

As you can see, both the band and the student benefit. AND there was no extra out of pocket expense! The only change is how you pay for your purchases. Just a change of habits can reap big rewards!

EXAMPLE # 2

$200 Lowe's Gift Card

  • You pay $200 for the gift card
  • Lowe's gives 4% of the purchase to the band
  • Total profit on the card is $8.00
  • $7.20 goes to the student account
  • $0.80 goes to the band account

Getting Started

  • Orders for Scrip cards are sent every 3-4 weeks
  • All must be prepaid by check. No credit cards are accepted.
  • Contact the Scrip volunteer to place your order
  • Delivery takes about 2-3 weeks from when the cards are ordered
