Scrip Gift Card Program

The Scrip Gift Card program is a great way to earn money for the Upbeat Club. Through the program you purchase gift cards at face value, and the company returns a percentage to the band. This money goes into the General Fund to help all bands.

Upcoming Order Dates:

  • April 22.  Cards will be available for pickup at the May 2 Marching Band Kickoff (Lakota East Freshman Campus) and May 4 Cool Jazz ‘n Hotcakes (Lakota East Main Campus)
  • May 13 – available for pickup at concerts and awards nigh week of May 21st

  • iTunes $15 and $25 cards available
  • Barnes and Noble $10 and $25 cards available
  • Kohl’s $25 and $100 cards available

Traveling this Summer?  Did you know that you can pay for your hotel with scrip?   Be sure to ask your hotel, but I’ve had success by making a reservation and holding it with a credit card.  When you checkout, ask that part of your bill be deducted from your gift card.

Getting Started

  • Check out the list of retailers and restaurants that offer scrip cards
  • Make an order online
  • Pay online with a credit card or mail a check to the coordinator (note: the club gets more money if you pay with a check.  Credit card orders reduce our profits.)
  • Contact the Scrip Coordinator (Lawanna Casto) with questions or a mailing address for Scrip payment
  • Delivery takes about  1 week from when the cards are ordered
  • All profits support all the Eastside Bands (concert, jazz, and marching)
