2015 All-State information from the TRIAD (pdf)
Required Etudes - we do not have the bassoon, snare or mallet etudes. Ask your private lesson teacher.
All CB & SB students will dress for the concert at school. Please wear your tux shirt and have on lightweight gym shorts to pull your pants on over (NO jeans or cargo-type shorts or long pants of any kind are to be worn under the uniform pants), mid-calf or knee-length all-black socks or hosiery (no low-cut or ankle-cut socks please) and black, closed-toe dress shoes (marching band shoes are fine). Bow ties will be given to the students to wear for the concert during uniform inspections. All students will need to have their uniforms hung up properly and checked in after the concert is over. This may take a few extra minutes so we thank you for your patience with this process.
All CB & SB students will need to pick up their uniform after school on Thursday (3/13) or Friday (3/14) from the East band room. Please come to Fairfield HS dressed properly for the concert. Uniform inspections will take place prior to warm up and you will be given your bowtie then. All bowties will be turned in before leaving Fairfield HS and uniforms should be returned to the band room on Monday (3/17). Make sure to hang up your uniform correctly on the hanger and in the garment bag when you get home. When returning the uniform please hang it in alphabetical order on the rack for your band class.
Any questions? Please contact Carolyn Landers – firstname.lastname@example.org OR 755-2440 (home) / 919-2614 (cell)
