Welcome to the Lakota East High School Music Program

We pride ourselves at Lakota for offering a wide range of quality instrumental experiences with the concert program being the foundation of our instrumental program. District-wide we have approximately 2,500 students actively involved in our instrumental program in grades 7-12. Our mission is for every student to enjoy, appreciate and perform music to the best of their abilities and to realize that playing a musical instrument can last a lifetime.

Mission Statement

The Mission of the Lakota East High School Music Department is to promote excellence in music by creating meaningful cultural experiences through performance, understanding and appreciation of the art of music, while encouraging personal enrichment of the student’s mind and spirit in a supportive and challenging environment.

Website Ownership

This website is maintained by the Lakota East Upbeat Club (LEUC).
